Landlords

If you have a HMO property then we will be able to give you long term tenancy agreements. We are willing to give up to 5 years contract for HMO properties. We off competitive rents on your properties and take on full property management.

We ensure the property is kept to the standard which is required by BVSC.

Residents

We have a specific team committed to HMO’s providing support and assistance with a personalised approach, and to help you ‘Move On’ so you can carry on living independently.

All residents are provided with high quality housing that is regulatory compliant and well equipped. All our properties meet HMO specifications and Health and Safety regulations.

Stepstone Housing is proud to be recognised by the BVSC for our quality standards.

In 2019, BVSC was approached by Birmingham City Council to develop a Quality Standard for registered providers. In developing the standards, BVSC utilised feedback from individuals with lived experience and met with Birmingham City Council and accommodation providers.

The expectation for holders of the Quality Standard is that they are aware of the environment in which they operate and develop their accommodation to meet the needs of their communities and target groups.

The Quality standards set out the key areas for quality improvement in support for Exempt Accommodation. Each standard gives you:

  • A set of statements to help you improve quality
  • Examples on how to meet the standards.

  • Greater credibility and recognition for good practice
  • Preferential referral from Birmingham City Council and uptake of accommodation by citizens.
  • An independent and objective review of strengths and areas for improvement.

For Residents
